alright, so i leave the country next thursday and basically im just not going to be here anymore, as i am leaving on a boat for a year. We're sailing down south to the bahamas starting in maryland.
So this is my goodbye to you guys, i havent been around, nor have i done anything remotely artistic recently so i spose its no loss really.

3 weeks until the end of soccer season
6 weeks until exams
7/8 weeks until schools out
9 weeks until i leave
9 weeks and one day until i've broken down because i've left my heart behind

Well, i read something today, and i have to say, it hit home. I'm pretty sure we've all felt it, at one time or another.
Being on cloud nine, having your life changed by even the simplest song. How lyrics weave their way into our thoughts, force us to think, make us realize that when we're on rock bottom, going on six feet under, there's always going to be someone to help us out of there. That we're not alone.
I think the music we listen to turns us into who we are, as much as the people you are around, music shapes you. Thats what the arts do, i've come to realize that this year.
